Latino Coordinating Center (LCC) Internship Program - Application is Open!

The Latino Coordinating Center’s (LCC) Internship Program is a public service leadership and development program that provides students with an opportunity to gain valuable skills while supporting the work of the LCC and its mission to reduce tobacco-related disparities among Latino communities throughout California. All internships will be hosted remotely (virtually) with optional opportunities for in-person events and activities (A valid CA driver’s license and proof of insurance are required.) The internship is a five (5) month commitment in which interns will be required to complete a minimum of five (5) hours per week. Interns who complete the program will earn a $1,000 stipend.
To be eligible to participate in the internship, applicant must be enrolled in college or university in California, preferrably a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI). Students must be majoring and/or have a strong interest in public health, public health administration, community health, health science, or related majors. Students must have completed a minimum of 30 semester or 60 quarter units (equivalent to sophomore grade level standing). Graduate students can also apply. Experience working with the Latino community and fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred but not required.
