RISE Up Leadership Academy Registration is Open! April 8th & 9th
This year, Rural Initiatives Strengthening Equity (RISE), the CTPP statewide rural coordinating center and a project of the California Health Collaborative, is excited to bring 2026 RISE Up Leadership Academy to Local Lead Agency and Competitive Grantee staff serving rural communities that have never given public comment to an elected body.
This essential training includes local research and pre-training activities and culminates with a capstone project of giving public comments related to current workplan objectives to the elected body in the target jurisdiction. Graduates will report back on their experience with their capstone project to the Rural Initiatives Workgroup in May or June, 2026.
