Supporting Rural Tobacco Projects throughout California

Rural Initiatives Strengthening Equity (RISE), a project of the California Health Collaborative, works to support rural tobacco projects throughout California, by leveraging resources, data, and educational opportunities to partners throughout rural jurisdictions.

RISE has extensive educational materials on their website. They also publish RISE News monthly to help rural tobacco projects connect with resources, events, and successes. (Subscribe HERE.)

RISE also hosts monthly workgroup calls for rural projects, a bi-monthly cessation discussion group, and a monthly office hour for urban projects working in rural communities. Additionally, RISE offers technical assistance on a variety of issues.
