Kevin Keyes

Kevin Keyes serves as the Prevention Specialist for Kern County Superintendent of Schools, Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE) program in Bakersfield, California. Kevin’s primary responsibilities include coordinating staff and student trainings to implement the school-based tobacco prevention and youth advocacy elements of the Tobacco Use Prevention Education project plan and pulling in the community-wide efforts to raise up youth voices to fight Big Tobacco through media literacy efforts, anti-tobacco radio and TV PSA development.

Kevin, among many other accomplishments, serves as the Volunteer Chair for the Tobacco Free Coalition of Kern County, sits on the steering committee for the African American Tobacco Control Leadership Council, and has a wealth of experience in working with youth and with a variety of community organizations.
