California Center For Tobacco Cessation: 2025 Behavioral Health Regional Trainings

To apply for a 2025 Behavioral Health Regional Training in your community, please fill out this brief application.
Training costs are supported by the California Center for Tobacco Cessation (CaCTC). Smaller counties may collaborate with neighboring counties to host joint events.
Training Objective:
- Advance wellness policies within behavioral health facilities
- Implement system changes in treating nicotine dependence within the mental health and Substance Use Disorder fields
- Foster successful partnerships between county-level tobacco control and mental health programs to achieve sustainable outcomes
County Responsibilities:
- Participate in event planning calls
- Identify a behavioral health, public health department head, or healthcare leader for opening remarks
- Actively promote this event to your target audience with the goal of enrolling 40-80 participants

- CTPP-funded projects
- Local Lead Agencies and tobacco control coalitions
- County Mental Health and Alcohol and Drug Departments staff
- Behavioral health facility administrators and providers
- DHCS behavioral health facilities
