NEW TV AD RELEASE! “Big Tobacco’s Fantasyland” Campaign TV Spot “Nightmare” Reveals The Truth About Vaping Harms

The California Tobacco Prevention Program (CTPP) launched the TV spot, “Nightmare.” This pivotal 30 second video speaks directly to the growing research that shows many of the same long-term health harms associated with cigarettes are being linked to vape products, including increased risk of lung cancer and stroke. In fact, people who vape have a higher risk of stroke at a younger age than people who smoke cigarettes.

“Nightmare” also showcases who the tobacco industry is aggressively targeting, creating higher vaping prevalence rates, including young adults, and people who identify as bisexual and multiracial. Despite their rebrand, Big Tobacco remains dedicated to shamelessly preying on diverse communities for their profit.
