"Tracking Tobacco Laws: A California Digest" Available

The Public Health Law Center and American Lung Association in California have revised and updated Tracking Tobacco Laws: A California Digest, a user-friendly guide to laws regulating exposure to secondhand smoke and the sale and marketing of commercial tobacco products in California, including the federal Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act.

This digest is designed for commercial tobacco control advocates, government attorneys, local law enforcement agencies, and anyone working on tobacco control issues. The information in this digest includes tobacco-related laws that are effective as of June 30, 2023.
