The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) is the nation’s leading
cancer advocacy organization and the nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy affiliate of the
American Cancer Society. ACS CAN proposal to reduce tobacco-related health disparities
in rural communities in the Central Valley region will create more smoke-free
environments in locations that may serve as hubs in rural areas: multi-unit housing
complexes, healthcare campuses and community colleges and trade schools.
