two jurisdictions in Alameda County (Oakland, Emeryville, Pleasanton, and the
unincorporated areas) will adopt and implement policies that ban smoking in 100% of
multi-unit housing (MUH) units and includes enforcement provisions in each of the
targeted jurisdictions and TCP will support implementation and strengthening of the U.S.
Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) smoke-free rule implementation with the public
housing authorities of Oakland, Livermore and the County of Alameda; 3) increase adult
engagement in tobacco control through new partnerships with at least 5 agencies and
maintain a community coalition with a minimum of 25 culturally diverse members and/or
organizations; 4) at least one jurisdiction (e.g. Oakland or San Leandro) will adopt a policy
that requires a minimum price for the sale of tobacco products.
