American Lung Association (California Tobacco Policy Development Center)

About This Partner/Organization

The Law and Policy Coordination Center (LPCC), a joint initiative of the American Lung

Association and the Public Health Law Center, will engage and empower local and

regional priority population projects, as well as local and tribal governments across the

state to develop laws and policies designed to end the tobacco epidemic in California. The

project brings together legal and policy expertise, technical assistance and training to help

California’s tobacco control movement, priority populations, local governments and

non-traditional partners with resources and tools to change or permanently eliminate the

structural, political, and social dynamics that sustain the tobacco epidemic, in order to end

it.
