ANR Foundation (PETS Technical Assistance)
About This Partner/Organization
Tobacco control policy has been well established in California and produced significant
public health gains. But challenges remains as new products are launched in the market,
and the tobacco industry targets news groups of Californians. The goal of this project is to
provide useful, objective policy surveillance data to inform ongoing statewide efforts. It will
expand and enhance tobacco-related policy collection and reporting in California. The
ANR Foundation (ANRF) has three decades of experience in tobacco-related policy
surveillance, analyses and reporting, and is uniquely qualified to provide tobacco-related
laws data and reports. Its expertise in managing and utilizing an Advisory Committee’s to
advise and inform its existing Laws Database expansion will inform the proposed effort to
establish, maintain, and collaborate with a Policy Evaluation Tracking System for the
expanded policy interests and needs in California.
