About This Partner/Organization
Breathe California will be working throughout eight counties of CTCP’s Bay Area and
Central Coast Regions: San Francisco, San Mateo, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, Alameda,
San Benito, Santa Cruz, and Monterey. We Will focus on the following priority
populations: African American; Asian (especially Vietnamese and Korean men); low
income populations (primarily Hispanic); rural populations; the homeless; military
personnel; and LGBTQ persons. The primary goals are to fill in the gaps of coverage with
tobacco-free spaces by winning adoption of additional tobacco-free policies, and to
provide services to those who have been left behind in California’s decline in tobacco use.
