About This Partner/Organization

The Contra Costa Tobacco Prevention Project aims to reduce tobacco use and exposure in the county by changing social and cultural norms, particularly among youth, and institutionalizing community support. Successful initiatives include the Tobacco Industry Gets Hammered By Teens (TIGHT) youth mobilization and the Tobacco-Free Youth Ordinance (TTYO), which limits tobacco advertising.
