About This Partner/Organization
Equality California Institute's (EQCA) OUT Against Big Tobacco program aims to reduce
rates of tobacco use in the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ)
community in Los Angeles County. The major goal of the program is to work with local
jurisdictions with significant LGBTQ populations to strengthen existing tobacco control
policies that disproportionately target communities of color, low-income, and other
marginalized communities.
