EQCAI (OUT Against Big Tobacco Central Valley (OABT-CV))

Equality California Institute's (EQCAI) Advocates Countering Tobacco In Our

Neighborhoods (ACTION) program aims to reduce rates of tobacco use in the Lesbian,

Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) communities and intersecting cohorts to

which we belong, including youth groups, immigrant communities and Latinx communities

across the Central Valley. The major goal of the program is to work with jurisdictions to

strengthen existing tobacco control policies that disproportionately target LGBTQ

communities, communities of color, low-income, and other marginalized communities.
