Glenn County (Glenn County Tobacco Education Program)

The Glenn County Tobacco Education Program is a local lead agency of the California

Department of Public Health Tobacco Control Program. Our major goals for the

2017-2021 period are 1) to work with the community of Willows to implement the 20 feet

smoke-free business entryways policy; 2) to reduce the availability of tobacco to youth by

educating targeted Glenn County jurisdiction (most likely Orland) to consider a conditional

use permit or other land use regulation to restrict tobacco sales within proximity of schools

and/or youth sensitive areas; and 3) to continue to recruit, educate, engage and train youth

tobacco control coalition members to participate in program activities.
