Grandview (GVF-Tobacco-Free)

Grandview Foundation provides shelter and addiction treatment services to individuals

struggling with years of drug and alcohol addiction, further compounded by issues

including poverty, homelessness, incarceration, family and community alienation,

co-occurring mental health issues, and more. Our clients are marginalized and

underserved. Rather than wallow in despair, however, each one has made the brave

choice to work to regain their sobriety, independence and dignity. As they struggle to

overcome their issues, as many as 95% are further hindered and endangered by their

addiction to nicotine. Understanding that smoking is one of the most addictive and deadly

substances available to us, we seek to implement a Smoking Cessation program to

complement the bundle of services available through our existing Wellness Program,

which includes yoga, fitness, meditation and drumming classes.
