About This Partner/Organization
Chrysalis, a 24-bed residential facility of the non-profit community-based organization
Horizon Services, Inc., is dedicated to preventing and treating substance use addiction
within the Alameda County community. Chrysalis exclusively serves female, transgender,
non-binary, and female-identifying clients in Oakland, CA, providing care for over 40
years. Chrysalis has already made monumental strides over the past 8 years to go
tobacco free based on the scientific evidence illustrating that tobacco cessation greatly
aids in other addiction recovery.
