Humboldt County (Tobacco Free Humboldt)
About This Partner/Organization
The Tobacco-Free Humboldt program works with a community coalition called Allies for
Substance Abuse Prevention (ASAP) and a sub-committee (Tobacco Education Network)
to create a healthier Humboldt County by preventing and reducing nicotine addiction. The
U.S. Census 2015 estimated population in Humboldt County is 135,727 people, with
about half living in coastal areas around Humboldt Bay. Most Tobacco Free Humboldt
activities take place in the Humboldt Bay area.
