About This Partner/Organization
The Kern County Public Health Services Department goals for the Tobacco Control
Program's, in partnership with the Tobacco Free Coalition of Kern County, are to limit
youth access to tobacco products by implementing policies to set a minimum pack size
and price requirement and create a buffer zone around schools, parks, and youth
facilities; limit licensed healthcare facilities exposure to secondhand smoke; and, empower
youth to become engaged in tobacco control advocacy campaigns.
