Lassen County (Lassen County Public Health Tobacco Use Reduction Program)

The project will focus on the establishment of a fully functioning tobacco focused coalition,

adoption and implementation of a tobacco retailer license, and implementing a smoke-free

outdoor recreational area policy established by the City of Susanville in 2014. These

objectives were the focus on the CX assessment meetings. Community members were

very concerned with youth and young adults using tobacco products and local parks

becoming smoke-free.
