About This Partner/Organization

Connecting Point, a community-based organization, has been providing services since 2003, focusing on In-Home-Support-Services and IHSS employment in Nevada, Sierra, and Plumas Counties. It is governed by an 11-member Governing Board and funded by county, state, and federal funds. In 2014, it expanded to offer employment services, training, financial assistance, and job placement for parents participating in Nevada County's CalWORKs program.
