Progress House Inc. operates several residential substance use disorder treatment
facilities in El Dorado County, CA. and in particular a 28 bed Men’s Residential Facility in
Coloma, CA will be participating in the Wellness Quality Improvement Project. The major
goals of this project are to reduce tobacco use and promote wellness policies and
activities among individuals seeking substance use disorder treatment in the Men’s
Residential Facility through the adoption and implementation of tobacco-free campus
policies, implementation of evidence based nicotine addiction treatment, and other
wellness policies and system changes that support tobacco use cessation.
