San Diego County (Tobacco Control Resource Program)
About This Partner/Organization
The County of San Diego, Tobacco Control Resource Program will address five (5)
indicators and one (1) asset throughout the county; addressing 3 of the 4 California
Tobacco Control Program priority areas. Specifically those are, 1) Indicator 2.2.6
Smoke-free Outdoor Dining (SFOD), 2) Indicator 3.2.4 Tobacco Retailer Licensing (TRL);
3) Indicator 2.2.33 Smoking Definition (SDEF) and secondarily, 3.2.12 Tobacco Product
Definition (TPD) as it relates to Smoke-free Multi-Unit Housing (2.2.13); 4) Indicator 2.2.22
Tobacco Control Elements in General Plans (TCGP), and 5) Indicator 4.2.4 Behavioral
Health Cessation Treatment Programs (BHCT); and lastly the Social Capital Asset 2.5,
Adult Engagement in Tobacco Control.
