San Francisco Public Health Foundation (LGBTQ Minus Tobacco)

About This Partner/Organization

LGBTQ Minus Tobacco, based at The San Francisco Public Health Foundation, seeks the

adoption of a minimum price policy for cigarettes, cigars and cigar wraps as well as a

minimum pack size for cigars and an end to the redemption of discount coupons for

tobacco products in one or more of the cities of Concord and Vallejo. The project also

seeks the adoption of a policy requiring bar patios and semi-enclosed smoking rooms to

be smoke-free in one or more of the cities of Oakland and San Francisco. The project will

build community capacity by recruiting and maintaining two to three Community Advocate

Teams (CATs) composed of LGBTQ+ community members and Allies who will work in

these cities with large LGBTQ+ populations in support of policy goals.
