About This Partner/Organization
The Los Angeles Tobacco Prevention Network (LATPN) serves as
the regional network for Asian/Pacific Islander (API) communities within the Los Angeles
Region. The major goals of the Network are to increase knowledge of potential health
risks through assisting jurisdictions in the adoption of smoke-free policies that require
landlords to adopt smoke-free multi-unit housing policies; require restaurant owners to
adopt smoke-free outdoor dining policies; and, mobilizing youth through tobacco control
trainings and capacity-building efforts to engage in local tobacco control
initiatives
