Since 1981, South Central Family Health Center (SCFHC) has provided comprehensive health services to the historically underserved and uninsured population of South Los Angeles. With over 252 staff members, including 35 clinicians, SCFHC addresses healthcare issues among geographically and economically disadvantaged individuals and families. In 2002, it was designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) 330 Clinic, adhering to strict government standards for quality comprehensive service delivery.
