Sutter County (Sutter County Health & Human Services - Public Health Division - Tobacco Control Program)

The Sutter County Tobacco Control Program comprehensively addresses the need to

reduce the use of tobacco and exposure to secondhand smoke in Sutter County through a

range of activities that encourage prevention. The goal of the 2017-2021 Sutter County

Tobacco Control Program is to enable Sutter County residents to live healthier lives by

reducing the risk factors associated with the leading causes of death and disability.

Additionally using the results of the Healthy Stores for a Healthy Community Campaign,

combined with momentum of collaborative partners Sutter County Tobacco Control

Program will work with communities that are underserved and disproportionately impacted

by tobacco use.
