Trinity County (Trinity County Tobacco Education Program)

The Trinity County Tobacco Education Program will primarily work in Trinity County, a

rural frontier county in Northern California with a population of approximately 13,786.

(Census, 2010) There are no incorporated cities in Trinity County. All areas of the county

are under the jurisdiction of the Trinity County Board of Supervisors. The two largest

communities are Weaverville, population 3,600, and Hayfork, population 2,368. (Census,

2010) This project will primarily focus on the priority populations of Rural Residents,

Persons of Low Socioeconomic Status, and Youth.
