About This Partner/Organization
The Tuolumne County Tobacco Education & Prevention Program serves a rural area in
the Sierra foothills (pop. 56,000) with a significant Native American population. The
program works to reduce and prevent tobacco use in Tuolumne County by educating the
community about the dangers of tobacco use and the exposure to secondhand smoke,
participating in community outreach events, and providing technical assistance and
education to local businesses, groups, and the general public.
