UCD (CA Quits)
About This Partner/Organization
The long-term objective for this “CA Quits” project is to advance tobacco cessation
treatment for all Californians through capacity building and collaboration with safety net
providers, Medicaid managed care plans, and county partner resources. This 5-year
project is an expansion of an initial 1-year “CA Quits” project (PI: Dr. Elisa Tong) to start
building statewide learning collaboratives on tobacco cessation treatment with safety net
hospital clinics participating in the California Department of Health Care Services’
Medicaid waiver program called PRIME (Public Hospital Redesign & Incentives in
Medi-Cal).
