About This Partner/Organization

The United Way Fresno and Madera Counties are working to address wealth, health, and educational disparities in Communities of Color. They are developing a Prosperity Coaching model to teach people how to grow and invest wealth and launched the first cohort of Building Black, a leadership series for Black managers, business owners, and entrepreneurs. They are also working with partners to close the digital divide and bring internet access to underserved areas in Fresno County. Their outreach team, Madera Rising, collaborates with other non-profits to expand their reach. Free Tax Prep and the 211 Helpline remain available year-round, demonstrating the collective power of the community to break down systemic barriers to prosperity.
