In the cities of Merced, Madera, and Fresno, YLI will work follow a Youth-led Participatory
Action Research strategy to engage African American youth and their adult allies to enact
smoke- and tobacco-free policies at three location types of significance to this community:
multi-unit housing, community college campuses, and faith community campuses.
